aligning to safe self-love
& building resilience

I aim to make therapy a space where you feel heard, valued, respected and sincerely cared for. You deserve a space that holds you in your healing and allows you to unfurl the layers of your stories, emotions, thoughts and beliefs in the timing you feel is best for you.

I specialize working with trauma/PTSD, low self-esteem, anxiety, narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, spiritual/religious/cult trauma & identity reclamation.

The after-effects of trauma can show up differently for everyone, but some examples might include:

  • fear of failure

  • shame

  • hypervigilance or anxiety

  • freeze response or numbness

  • difficulty setting boundaries

  • overwhelming intrusive thoughts

  • negative internal dialogue

  • dysregulating flashbacks

  • panic attacks

  • self-sabotage

  • feeling unworthy

  • nightmares or sleep disruptions

My style as a therapist

Safety is at the core of my approach. To me, this means meeting you with empathy, open-mindedness, and compassionate curiosity. Informed consent and being trauma informed are pillars of my work. I respect your autonomy and will never force insights or impose a personal agenda. Instead, I empower you to come to your own understanding of your experiences. Your voice matters, and your authentic expression is always valued.

    Eco Therapy

Eco-therapy focuses on strengthening the connection between you and the natural world. It integrates nature-based activities and experiences into therapeutic practices to promote holistic well-being. This may look like going for a walk, or sitting down on a bench or the ground. In our sessions, we may also incorporate the elements to enhance the therapeutic experience (grounding techniques; connection with trees, plants, flowers and animals; making art with pinecones and rocks; etc!)

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”
